Jameis Winston found a new team, but Andy Dalton joins Cam Newton among veteran QB free agents
Jameis Winston found a new home.
However, add Andy Dalton to a list that also includes Cam Newton of former franchise quarterbacks who were released and are now looking for new teams.
The Cincinnati Bengals selecting LSU QB Joe Burrow with the No. 1 selection in last week's NFL draft effectively ended the Dalton Era in the Queen City.
Dalton still is a starting-caliber NFL quarterback. Where might he land next?
New England? Coach Bill Belichick opted not to select a quarterback in last weekend's draft.
Jacksonville? Or, are the Jaguars content to go into the 2020 season with Gardner Minshew at quarterback?
Dalton's future landing spot will be one of many intriguing story lines to follow as we head toward what we hope will be a 2020 season.
