Pat McAfee lived his childhood dream Saturday night.
He got into the ring for a WWE match against Adam Cole. The former Indianapolis Colts punter and worldwide media personality displayed some impressive moves but ended up getting pinned.
The 33-year-old McAfee, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, retired from the NFL following the 2016 season after averaging 46.4 yards per punt during his eight seasons with the Colts.
Since retiring McAfee has appeared on FOX Sports, ESPN, DAZN and Westwood One. He began working as an announcer/analyst with WWE in 2018.
McAfee got some respect from Cole post-match but was reminded that the ring is "my world."
