Giants' Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley may face discipline after maskless images surface

The New York Giants say they are aware of video and photos that appear to show quarterback Daniel Jones and injured running back Saquon Barkley among others in a bar Friday night without masks and without practicing social distancing.
The images are presumed to have been taken on Friday night and began circulating on Instagram soon after, but the video has since been unposted.
In a statement provided to NorthJersey.com and the Paste BN Network, the Giants said: "We are looking into the nature and context of what is on the video."
Jones and Barkley could face discipline in the form of fines from the team and the league for violating strict rules intended to protect players from COVID-19 during this season. A group of players from the Raiders were reportedly fined earlier this month for breaking coronavirus protocols at a charity event.
The Giants' players are off until Monday after losing to the Eagles, 22-21, on Thursday night. Their next game is Nov. 2 against the Bucs.
Barkley suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 2 and is expected to undergo surgery to repair a torn ACL this week. He has been rehabbing an MCL injury in the same knee and waiting for swelling to lessen before traveling to Los Angeles for the procedure.
