'It's gotten a little soft': Deion Sanders on NFL protecting offenses and quarterbacks
Mackenzie Salmon connected with Deion Sanders to get his perspective on the NFL's trend to protect QBs and offenses more so than defenses in today's game.
Sports Seriously, Paste BN
The 2021 NFL season officially kicks off Thursday night in Tampa, when the reigning Super Bowl champion Buccaneers host the Cowboys.
It will be Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott's first game in 11 months after a gruesome ankle injury aborted his 2020 season after five games. The game will also mark Step 1 as Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay teammates hope to mount the first successful title defense since TB12's 2004 Patriots squad became the last NFL team to win consecutive Lombardi Trophies.
Of course, there are numerous storylines to monitor throughout the league beyond the Bucs and Cowboys. In that spirit, Paste BN Sports' panel of NFL experts is here to weigh in with their predictions for team and individual success in 2021.
