Terrell Owens catches touchdown pass in Fan Controlled Football League game

The year is 2022, not 2002, but Terrell Owens is still catching touchdown passes.
Owens, 48, declared his return to the gridiron earlier this month by joining the Fan Controlled Football League, which began its second season Saturday.
Playing for the Zappers, the same team as Johnny Manziel, Owens hauled in his touchdown from a different quarterback (Laquan Horton) as time expired in the first half.
Horton stepped up in the pocket and floated a pass between two defenders in the end zone. Owens went up and secured the ball for the score.
Once Owens stopped playing, he moved into the broadcast booth and interviewed players and coaches during the game.
The Fan Controlled Football League features seven players from each team on the field (three-man lines) on a 50-yard field. There are no special teams and games are supposed to last one hour. Fans help select the offense's plays in real-time.
Owens was selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018 after a career that spanned from 1996 to 2010 with five All-Pro selections. He played for the San Francisco 49ers (1996-2003), the Philadelphia Eagles (2004-05) and the Dallas Cowboys (2006-08).
His NFL days ended with the Buffalo Bills (2009) and the Cincinnati Bengals (2010). Owens caught 153 touchdowns and amassed nearly 16,000 receiving yards.
