The New York Jets landed two victories over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. One on the field, and the other on social media.

The Jets defeated the Steelers, 24-20, to improve to 2-2 heading into their first AFC East game Sunday against the Dolphins. However, the Jets also decided to have a little fun on Twitter.

The Jets posted a picture of a pair of black Nike Air Force shoes with the words "GOT 'EM." The joke is a reference to the Steelers self-appointed "black Air Force energy." The popular shoes have grown in popularity on social media. The internet meme is meant to elicit a menacing presence by those who wear them.

Head coach Mike Tomlin gifted players Air Force 1s ahead of the Steelers' season-opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Jets intercepted Steelers quarterbacks Mitchell Trubisky and Kenny Pickett four times. The final interception proved costly when the Jets defensive back Lamarcus Joyner sealed the victory in the waning moments.

The Steelers surrendered a ten-point lead in the fourth quarter, losing their third straight game.

"I'm proud of everybody," Jets head coach Robert Saleh told the team after the game. "We had a lead, relinquished the lead, and we brought ourselves back to win the game. That's a NFL win."
