Jacksonville Jaguars at Kansas City Chiefs: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL playoff matchup

Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars roll into Kansas City for a matchup against Patrick Mahomes' Chiefs. A trip to the AFC championship game is on the line.
The Doug Pederson-coached Jaguars erased a 27-0 deficit to pick up a win during wild-card weekend and will look to keep the momentum going against the division's top seed. The Chiefs, who are coming off a bye, are looking to make their fifth straight AFC title game and will need Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Co. to come up big. The game is scheduled to kick off Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET from Arrowhead Stadium.

Lorenzo Reyes: Chiefs 31, Jaguars 26
Coming off the bye, Kansas City will be well-rested and has speed and play-making ability at every level of its offense. Its coaches are more creative and its roster is better. But the Jaguars have covered seven of their last 10 and the key for Jacksonville will be for Lawrence to limit turnovers. The over, however, might be the best play here.
Safid Deen: Chiefs 37, Jaguars 31
Lawrence rebounded from four interceptions to throw four touchdowns, while Pederson showed his Super Bowl-winning prowess with gutsy calls to help Jacksonville reach the second round. But no team is better coming off a bye week than the Chiefs. Kansas City will be challenged, but Mahomes will elevate the Chiefs past the Jaguars into the AFC title game.
Richard Morin: Chiefs 36, Jaguars 27
It will be interesting to see whether the Jaguars can keep their momentum going on the road in a tough playoff environment. Jacksonville was just 4-5 on the road this season and the Chiefs have lost just once at home. I think the Chiefs comfortably roll to another AFC title game.
Jarrett Bell: Chiefs 31, Jaguars 27
Nate Davis: Chiefs 30, Jaguars 23
Tyler Dragon: Chiefs 32, Jaguars 24
