PETA rips 'wannabe macho man' sports agent Drew Rosenhaus for shark wrestling video

When people do anything that can be perceived as a threat or harmful to animals, expect to hear from PETA.

NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus recently came under the ire of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals after he posted on social media a video of him wrestling with a shark.

"Aquatic animals already suffer at the hands of anglers who impale them, yank them out of the water, and gut them or leave them to suffocate, so they don’t need some wannabe macho man yanking on their tails for a few Twitter ‘likes.’," PETA said in a statement to TMZ.

On the video, Rosenhaus, who was with one of his clients, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, jumped into the water and swam up to the shark and grabbed its tail.

A voice can be heard in the background warning Rosenhaus not to bother the shark.
