NFL preseason games Friday: Matchups, times, TV and everything you need to know

Week 2 of the NFL preseason rolls on as regular season draws closer.
By this time in training camps, fringe roster players are still battling for jobs, while those who will make the 53-man roster are usually held out of preseason games entirely – and if they do play, it's for a series or a quarter, as coaches are cautious to avoid injuries.
The four teams playing Friday don't have to worry about making decisions, at least at quarterback, as Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, Daniel Jones of the New York Giants, Desmond Ridder of the Atlanta Falcons, and rookie Bryce Young of the Carolina Panthers will all be QB1 when the regular season starts in four weeks.
Here is everything you need to know about the Friday slate of games.

What to know about Carolina Panthers vs. New York Giants
Carolina was the only team that didn't score last week during the preseason, falling to the New York Jets, 27-0. Young started the game and played three series, leading the team to only one first down. He went 4 for 6 passing for 21 yards during his limited time. Young is expected to get the start once again Friday.
New York is also looking for improvement after losing to the Detroit Lions, 21-16, last week. Neither Jones nor running back Saquon Barkley played, and it is not known if either of them will see action against the Panthers.
The teams are playing for the first time in the preseason since 2011.
What to know about Cincinnati Bengals vs. Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta will be without the services of Cordarrelle Patterson for a few weeks, as the versatile running back is dealing with a soft tissue injury. The Falcons sat most of their starters, including Ridder, during their 19-3 victory over the Miami Dolphins, but coach Arthur Smith said Ridder and rookie running back Bijan Robinson will play Friday.
Burrow won't see the field either and is recovering from a calf injury that is expected to keep him out for at least the rest of the preseason. The backup quarterback competition is far from settled as Trevor Siemian and Jake Browning continue that battle.
The Bengals lost their preseason opener 36-19 to the Green Bay Packers, sitting most of their starters. The defense gave up 427 yards, and it is expected that a few regulars on that side of the ball will play Friday.
