Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 8 game

The Green Bay Packers (2-4) and Minnesota Vikings (3-4) have battled for the NFC North title for years, but they'll be playing to turn their season around Sunday.

Minnesota got its biggest win of the season after an impressive performance against the mighty San Francisco 49ers on "Monday Night Football." Rookie receiver Jordan Addison showed why he was a first-round draft pick and the defense was able to thwart the 49ers attack in a win that could move the Vikings in the right direction.

The Jordan Love experience hasn't been off to the start Green Bay was hoping for, as the team is on a three-game losing streak after a loss to the lowly Denver Broncos. The offense hasn't been able to generate any momentum and the defense is banged up, leaving few ways for the Packers to get back on the winning side.

Lorenzo Reyes: Vikings 19, Packers 16

The Packers, with Jordan Love unable to play efficiently cannot be trusted. They faced a historically inept Broncos squad and were shut out in the first half. The Vikings have the better roster.

Tyler Dragon: Packers 22, Vikings 20

The Vikings had a surprising win over the 49ers that could change the course of their season. However, the Packers have lost three straight and will play with desperation at home against their NFC North rival.

Safid Deen: Vikings 24, Packers 20

Maybe, the Vikings found their mojo offensively without Justin Jefferson in their win over the 49ers last week? It should carry over into Green Bay, who have one of the youngest teams in the NFL and have struggled against bad teams this season.

Victoria Hernandez: Vikings 24, Packers 20

The Vikings are riding high after a Monday night upset and the Packers are still trying to piece things together after dropping their third-straight loss. Rookie Jordan Addison has stepped in nicely while Justin Jefferson recovers. Danielle Hunter and Camryn Bynum have created a formidable defense.

Jordan Mendoza: Packers 21, Vikings 19

Based off of last week, Minnesota would be the obvious favorite in this one. But recently, Minnesota has struggled when playing at Lambeau Field. The Vikings offense comes back down to Earth, while the Green Bay offense finally compliments the defense to end the losing skid.
