Chicago Bears at New Orleans Saints: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 9 game

The New Orleans Saints (4-4) are right back in the NFC South title picture, and they'll look to get back to a winning record against the Chicago Bears (2-6).
Quarterback Tyson Bagent fell back to Earth this week after Chicago was blown out against the Los Angeles Chargers on "Sunday Night Football." Now it's back to the drawing board as the Bears wonder when Justin Fields will be back.
The Saints offense looked to have turned the page after an impressive outing against the Indianapolis Colts, scoring a season-high 38 points in the victory. Derek Carr played one of the best games in his first season in New Orleans, and Alvin Kamara reminded people how dangerous he could be in a free flowing offense. Now, they have a chance to take a division lead at the midway point of the season.

Lorenzo Reyes: Saints 28, Bears 15
New Orleans has been awful this season at covering, but the development of its deep passing game helped turn things around last week against the Colts. I don’t feel super confident about this, but with Tyson Bagent in line to get another start, I’m going to ride the better roster.
Tyler Dragon: Saints 25, Bears 16
The Bears were embarrassed by the Chargers in Week 8. Tyson Bagent is slated to start at quarterback again for Chicago. The Saints have a top five defense that allows under 20 points a game. The Bears defense is going to struggle to contain RB Alvin Kamara.
Safid Deen: Saints 29, Bears 16
Derek Carr and the Saints are still ironing out the details offensively, while the Bears have a lot more problems than rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent starting again in place of Justin Fields. New Orleans wins big in this one.
Victoria Hernandez: Saints 26, Bears 17
The Saints offense is entertaining because they have multiple tools. The ball could go to a number of players at any given moment. Meanwhile, the Bears are hoping Montez Sweat will give their defense a boost, but the spark in rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent’s debut seemingly turned out to be just that: a spark and not much else.
Jordan Mendoza: Saints 26, Bears 16
The New Orleans offense will be pleased to see they will be going against a defense that gives up 27.3 points per game. The Bears pass defense is among the worst in the NFL, which should translate into Derek Carr having another solid game at home and an eighth straight win over Chicago.
