New York Giants at Las Vegas Raiders: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 9 game

Two struggling offenses will hope to pickup against each other when the New York Giants (2-6) visit the Las Vegas Raiders (3-5).

The Giants offense lost Tyrod Taylor and Darren Waller to injury and the offense was non-existent in a loss to the Jets. It was the sign of what has been a frustrating year for New York, as the team is averaging an NFL-worst 11.9 points per game while the passing game ranks last with 155.1 yards per game.

It was a Monday night to forget for the Raiders as Jimmy Garoppoloand the offense were pretty much non-existent in the loss to the Detroit Lions. Things are starting to get bad in the Sin City, as if Davante Adams doesn't get the appreciate he deserves, it might be too little too late to think of a good season.

Lorenzo Reyes: Giants 15, Raiders 13

With Daniel Jones returning to action, and seeing Tyrod Taylor have some moderate success in his time away, I think the Giants offense gets a bit of a boost. That said, the Raiders offense is putrid. As always, a Giant under is worth watching but this number is so low that it might be cutting it a little too close. I’d probably still take it, though.

Tyler Dragon: Raiders 21, Giants 20

Jimmy Garoppolo has an NFL-high nine interceptions. The Raiders’ 16 giveaways are the second most in the NFL entering Week 9. Silver and Black fans will voice their disapproval if the Raiders drop their third straight game. Garoppolo has to figure out how to successfully get the football to star wideout Davante Adams who only had one catch on seven targets in Week 8.

Safid Deen: Raiders 23, Giants 17

Daniel Jones should return from his neck injury just in time for the Giants, but they’ll be facing a frustrated Raiders team that could use a win at home after disappointing losses to the Bears and Lions. Davante Adams catches two touchdowns in this one.

Victoria Hernandez: Raiders 20, Giants 16

Las Vegas finally returns home after being whooped in two road games. They will have one less day of preparation after their Monday night beatdown at the hands of the Lions, but they will be intentional about getting their receivers involved. The defense will handle the Giants' offense, who will probably have Daniel Jones back but might be without Darren Waller.

Jordan Mendoza: Raiders 17, Giants 10

This game is going to be a tough watch, as I wouldn't expect much good football to be played with both teams in the bottom three of scoring. But the Giants are a complete mess, as they haven't scored more than 16 points in a game since their Week 2 win over Arizona. Las Vegas is the better team and gets another win in a game that should be a good candidate to bet the under.
