Washington Commanders at Seattle Seahawks: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 10 game

The Seattle Seahawks (5-3) brush off a Week 9 thrashing and return home to take on the Washington Commanders (4-5) in Week 10 action.
Last week, the Seahawks offense was held to 151 total yards in a 37-3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. This was their lowest offensive yards since 2017 when they had 136 in a Week 16 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys and 149 a week earlier facing the Los Angeles Rams. Two weeks after a 100-yard game, Kenneth Walker III had nine carries for 16 yards.
The Commanders, meanwhile, got a 20-17 win against the New England Patriots last week, snapping a two-game losing streak. After a back-and-forth game, Jartavius Martin snagged a game-sealing interception. Quarterback Sam Howell was 29-of-45 for 325 yards, one touchdown and an interception of his own. He was sacked three times.
Washington gave away defensive lineman Chase Young and Montez Sweat at the trade deadline.
Will the 12th Man help Seattle rebound? Or will the Commanders have enough momentum to get a road upset?

Lorenzo Reyes: Seahawks 30, Commanders 20
I think this is a nice bounce-back spot for Seattle after last week’s blowout against Baltimore, which was the result of a bad matchup, more than anything. Washington battled back against the Patriots, but the Seahawks are far more talented and Seattle is a difficult road environment for a young Commanders team.
Tyler Dragon: Seahawks 24, Commanders 16
The Seahawks were embarrassed last week by the Ravens. Playing at home against a sub-.500 Commanders team is a good remedy. Sam Howell and the Commanders have been up and down this season.
Safid Deen: Seahawks 30, Commanders 17
The Seahawks have too much offense and plenty of defense compared to the Commanders, who just have an offense that can move the ball but a defense that just lost two starting defensive linemen at the trade deadline. I’ll take Seattle at home in this one.
Victoria Hernandez: Seahawks 23, Commanders 20
Washington travels across the country for its second straight road game. Geno Smith and company will be hoping to wipe away their Week 9 embarrassment where they allowed 515 yards to the Ravens as quickly and firmly as possible. Kenneth Walker III should be able to get more than 16 yards against a defense that has allowed 1,046 rushing yards this season.
Jordan Mendoza: Seahawks 29, Commanders 24
Neither team’s defense is really all that good, so this game has the potential to be one of the higher-scoring games of the week. Sam Howell has shown improvement in his first year as a starter, but playing on the road in Seattle will rattle him and result in a Seahawks win.
