Cincinnati Bengals vs. Jacksonville Jaguars preview: Predictions, odds, how to watch MNF

Editor’s note: Follow all the "Monday Night Football" action between the Bengals and Jaguars with Paste BN Sports’ live coverage.

An eventful week in football ends on Monday when the Jacksonville Jaguars (8-3) play host to the Cincinnati Bengals (5-6) in this week's edition of "Monday Night Football."

It's the first matchup between the Bengals and Jaguars since 2021, Jacksonville quarterback and 2021 first overall pick Trevor Lawrence's rookie season. Cincinnati took that one, 24-21.

This time, the Bengals will be missing their former No. 1 overall pick quarterback, Joe Burrow, who is out for the season with a torn ligament in his right (throwing) wrist. Backup Jake Browning will make his second start in his place.

Here's everything to know about the AFC clash.

Jaguars vs. Bengals predictions

Winners and Whiners: Jaguars will win and cover spread

Chris King writes, "Jacksonville has played well of late and they are at home here. More importantly, they have their former #1 overall pick and signal caller under center. That’s enough to give the advantage to the Jaguars as they send the Bengals to a fourth straight defeat."

All Bengals (Sports Illustrated FanNation site): There won't be many points

Mark Lammey writes, "It’s not the conventional pick given the Bengals fantastic offense with Burrow at the helm, but with that not being the case, our best Bengals vs. Jaguars prediction is under 38.5 points."

Sportsbook Review: Prime-time game under hits again

Philip Wood writes, "The Bengals’ defense ranks in the bottom six in the league in both passing yards and rushing yards allowed per game. Yet, they’ve done a relatively good job of keeping their opponents off the scoreboard, allowing just 22.0 points per game. We'd be taking the Jaguars to cover if they weren't coming off such an emotional win, but given the current circumstances, we expect another primetime under to hit in Week 13."

Pickswise: Jaguars win and cover as favorites

John Martin writes, "Expect a professional performance from Trevor Lawrence and company as they stay in the mix for the No. 1 seed in the AFC."

ESPN: Jaguars are heavy home favorites in Week 13

ESPN Analytics give Jacksonville a 66.6% chance to take the win at EverBank Stadium and leave the Bengals a 33.1% chance to win on the road.
