When is kickoff time for the NFC divisional round? How to watch Buccaneers vs. Lions

The Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers meet for a second time this season in the NFL playoffs' divisional round. The two NFC division champions last faced off in mid-October.

The Buccaneers rattled off five wins in their final six games to secure their third consecutive NFC South title. When they played the Lions in Week 6, Tampa Bay managed just six points - their fewest in a game this season. Things look much different now; quarterback Baker Mayfield's playing some of his best football of the season and the defense finished top 10 in the league in points allowed. Tampa Bay easily knocked out the defending conference champion Philadelphia Eagles in the wild card round.

Detroit's controversial loss to the Cowboys in Week 17 kept them out of the running for the top seed in the NFC. Still, the Lions have won four of their last five games, including a tight battle with the Los Angeles Rams last week in the wild card round. The Lions held on for the win thanks to clutch first downs on offense and key stops on defense. The offense is firing on all cylinders with more than 300 total yards in each of the last five games.

The winner of this matchup will take on either the Green Bay Packers or the San Francisco 49ers in the conference championship game next week.
