Best anytime TD scorer bets for Sunday Week 2 games

Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season gave viewers and fans plenty of information about every team in the league. Divisional games and playoff rematches from last season made for an exciting week.
There's more of that coming in Week 2, including divisional games in the AFC East (Bills-Dolphins), NFC East (Commanders-Giants), and NFC West (Rams-Cardinals). Tampa Bay and Detroit meet again for the first time since the NFC Divisional playoffs last season.
If you're looking to add to the excitement, here are some anytime touchdown scorer bets for Sunday games in Week 2 with odds from BetMGM:
NFL anytime TD scorer best bets for Week 2
Odds as of Saturday morning.
Baltimore Ravens RB Derrick Henry (-190) vs. Las Vegas Raiders
Henry's Baltimore debut saw him total just 46 yards on 13 carries but he did score the opening touchdown of the season. He should have a much easier time this week against the Raiders.
Las Vegas allowed 7.6 yards per carry in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Former Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins had a standout day with 135 yards and a touchdown on just 10 carries. Henry may not have put up that yardage total, but he will have plenty of opportunities to score again this week.
Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (+110) vs. Indianapolis Colts
Jacobs tallied 16 carries for 84 yards in Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles. With AJ Dillon out for the season, he's the clear lead back in Green Bay and gets the majority of touches.
Quarterback Jordan Love's injury means backup Malik Willis is set to start against the Colts. The game script could lean on Jacobs to ease the pressure on Willis in his first start as a Packer. The Colts also just allowed the Houston Texans to run for 175 yards on 33 carries last week. Jacobs should have a prolific day that could culminate with a trip to the end zone.

Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (+110) at Green Bay Packers
Taylor also had 16 carries in Week 1 for 48 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 29-27 loss to Houston. Considering the showing Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had against Green Bay (132 yards from scrimmage and three total touchdowns), Taylor could be in for a good week as well. Philadelphia's offensive line is one of the best in the league but Indianapolis is good enough for Taylor to score again.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (+240) at Detroit Lions
Tampa Bay's offense put on a show through the air against Washington in Week 1. Baker Mayfield leads the league in passing touchdowns and quarterback rating and targeted Godwin more than any other player in the win.
The Lions gave up the most yards to wide receivers in the NFL in Week 1 (266) in their win over Los Angeles. Mayfield should have another good performance to Godwin's benefit. Former Buccaneer Carlton Davis is starting at outside cornerback for Detroit and will likely match up with a familiar face in Mike Evans. Godwin could benefit from that attention and score another touchdown this week.
Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (-125) vs. New Orleans Saints
Dallas dominated in Week 1 to a 33-17 win over Cleveland but only totaled 265 yards on offense. Lamb caught five passes for 61 yards on 10 targets against arguably the best secondary in the NFL.
New Orleans looked very good in a 47-10 win in Week 1 against Carolina. But Lamb is better than any pass-catcher the Panthers have and New Orleans' secondary isn't on the same level as Cleveland's group. Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore did not practice Wednesday with a hamstring injury. If he's out, Lamb could be set for a big day and his first touchdown of the season.
