Carolina Panthers at Las Vegas Raiders: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 3 game

(This story was updated to add new information.)
The Las Vegas Raiders (1-1) are home for the first time this season with a contest against the Carolina Panthers (0-2).
Things have gone south in Carolina quickly, so much so that 2023 first overall pick Bryce Young has been benched. The 2021 Heisman Trophy winner has struggled early in his career and Andy Dalton will get the nod for a team that has lost 17 of its last 19 games. The Panthers have been outscored 73-13 in two weeks and need a spark.
One of the biggest shockers of Week 2 was Las Vegas going into Baltimore to pull off a major upset and send the Ravens to 0-2. The Raiders didn't have many expectations heading into the season, but the team felt good heading into their home opener.

Lorenzo Reyes: Raiders 23, Panthers 13
Even with Andy Dalton starting, I am going to fade the Panthers every time they are getting anything less than a touchdown. And benching Bryce Young doesn’t fix that offensive line.
Tyler Dragon: Raiders 21, Panthers 16
The Panthers decided to bench Bryce Young after another horrendous start. The Panthers have the NFL’s worst total offense and are last in points per game. The Raiders had a huge comeback win against Baltimore in Week 2. The win should give Las Vegas confidence, especially at home against a reeling Carolina club.
Richard Morin: Raiders 18, Panthers 13
Las Vegas gets back over .500 while Carolina, although looking a little better with Andy Dalton under center, keeps on losing. Take the under.
Jordan Mendoza: Raiders 17, Panthers 10
Andy Dalton should give Carolina some juice it's been lacking so far, but that won't be able to fix the worst scoring defense in the NFL so far. Even though it'll be a low-scoring game, Davante Adams feasts on the Panthers secondary to give the Raiders a win.
