NFL MVP odds are out ahead of Week 4 of the season. After the initial three weeks of the season, all of the frontrunners for the award are quarterbacks.

In particular, it's the AFC quarterbacks that top the latest MVP odds, according to BetMGM. A majority of the most talented young gunslingers come from that conference, and most of them are off to strong starts in 2024.

Two of those top quarterbacks and MVP frontrunners will face off on "Sunday Night Football" when the Buffalo Bills take on the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore. Both teams are coming off of Week 3 wins and playoff runs in 2023.

With 15 weeks remaining on the NFL schedule, there is still plenty of time for shake up in odds ahead of the NFL Honors awards show next February. Here's how things stand now, ahead of Week 4, according to BetMGM's latest odds.

NFL ROOKIE RANKINGS: Jayden Daniels or Malik Nabers for No. 1 of early 2024 breakdown?

NFL MVP odds frontrunners

T-10. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals; Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (+3000)

The Cardinals are 1-2, but Murray has led Arizona to a top-four scoring offense in the league through three weeks. Murray also ranks eighth in passer rating (104.6), third in ESPN's QBR (75.6) and tied for fifth with five passing touchdowns.

Prescott and the Cowboys are also 1-2, but they, too, have been much stronger on offense. Dallas ranks sixth in scoring offense, and Prescott is leading the league with 851 passing yards in his first year as the NFL's highest-paid player.

T-7. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals; Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers; Sam Darnold, Minnesota Vikings (+2500)

Burrow and the Bengals are off to an inauspicious, 0-3 start. The 27-year-old quarterback hasn't been the biggest issue. He's seventh in the NFL with his 107.5 passer rating and 746 passing yards, and his five passing touchdowns are also tied for fifth. That's all with just one week of play so far with both of his top receivers – Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins – healthy.

The 49ers have been dealt a rough hand with the number of injuries their star players have suffered. However, Purdy has continued to be a bright spot as he adapts to the weapons around him. He's second in the NFL with 842 passing yards, seventh in completion percentage (72.6%) and sixth in passer rating (109.2). The former Iowa State product has also thrown just one interception so far.

Darnold has been the story of the season among quarterbacks. After taking over the Vikings' starting spot with rookie J.J. McCarthy's season-ending injury in the preseason, the former Jet, Panther and 49er has taken the job and run with it. He leads the NFL with eight passing touchdowns and is second to only the Bills' Josh Allen with his 117.3 passer rating.

6. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens (+2000)

The reigning NFL MVP and his team haven't gotten off to the start they were hoping for with a 1-2 record. Still, the Ravens rank 10th in passing yards per game, and Jackson is avoiding sacks at a better rate than he ever has in his career. He's also currently averaging 7.3 yards per rush attempt, which would also be a career high.

T-4. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles; Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets (+1600)

Hurts is coming off of his first fourth-quarter comeback of the season with the Eagles' 15-12 win over the New Orleans Saints. He's on pace for the best completion rate (70.6%) and passing yards (4,375) of his career. He has also turned the ball over six times with four interceptions and two lost fumbles, with his three total fumbles tied with Will Levis for the league lead. Hurts needs to protect the ball to improve his MVP outlook.

Rodgers has looked like the quarterback the Jets had hoped for when they traded for him before last year. He is ninth in the NFL in passer rating (103.1) and tied for fifth with five passing touchdowns, all while keeping the ball protected with just one interception.

3. C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans (+1300)

Stroud received down-ballot votes for MVP in his rookie season, and he's off to a strong start in 2024. His 709 passing yards are ninth in the league so far, and his 67.7% completion rate is up from his 63.9% rate at the end of 2023.

2. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs (+325)

Mahomes is Mahomes. His five passing touchdowns are tied with Burrow, Murray and Rodgers for fifth in the NFL, but he doesn't rank highly in many other stats. His four interceptions are tied for third-most in the league, and he currently has the lowest passer rating of his career since his one-game 2017 showing. His average depth of target is also the lowest it's ever been. But sportsbooks are still banking on the two-time MVP figuring things out before season's end.

1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (+200)

Allen has been the best quarterback in the NFL in 2024 thus far. He's been sacked the least, has the second-best completion rate (75%) and touchdown total (7), and he's also thrown zero interceptions. That's helped give him the highest passer rating in the NFL (133.7) by far, and it's assisted the Bills to a 3-0 record to open the season.
