Stefon Diggs injury update
On Tuesday, October 29, the Texans provided an injury update. Diggs suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2024 season.
Diggs injured his knee running a route in the third quarter against Kenny Moore. It was a non-contact injury after he planted his knee while making a cut inside. The Texans later ruled Diggs out for the game.
He hurt his right knee on the play, the same knee he injured in 2021 and 2016, and missed time both years.
In a press conference on Monday afternoon, Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said the team is "still evaluating" Diggs after the injury.
"We'll see where he is."
Diggs did not return to the game, which the Texans won 23-20. However, he was able to walk off the field under his own power to the locker room.
Even though he could walk to the locker room, further evaluation revealed Diggs suffered more damage and a torn ACL.
