Super Bowl 59 odds: Chiefs, Lions favored after 2024 NFL trade deadline

The 2024 NFL trade deadline has come and gone, and several teams across the NFL made notable moves to upgrade their rosters.
Per usual, most of the notable moves came in the weeks before the NFL trade deadline. The New York Jets began things by trading for Davante Adams, which kickstarted a flurry of wide receiver trades. The Buffalo Bills got Amari Cooper, the Kansas City Chiefs added DeAndre Hopkins and the Baltimore Ravens added Diontae Johnson, among the notable moves at the position.
On the actual deadline day, there were a handful of smaller moves but a couple of key defensive players were dealt. The Detroit Lions picked up edge rusher Za'Darius Smith to help replace the injured Aidan Hutchinson while the Washington Commanders signaled they are opening their Super Bowl window by trading for cornerback Marshon Lattimore.
While those moves may not be as exciting for NFL fans as the big-name receivers, they could certainly have a major impact on the NFC's pecking order come January. And already, sportsbooks are starting to project those trades to be potential difference makers in the race to win Super Bowl 59.
Here's a look at where the NFL's Super Bowl 59 odds stand with the trade deadline now in the rearview mirror.
