The Baltimore Ravens were among the best teams in the NFL during the 2023 season. They earned the No. 1 seed in the AFC and made it to the conference's championship game before losing to the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The Ravens hope to improve their postseason results in 2024, but first, they'll have to get there.

Baltimore's offense has improved this season, with both Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry playing at an MVP level. However, their defense hasn't performed as well. They are struggling to adjust to the loss of defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald to a head coaching job and allowing a league-high 284.5 passing yards per game.

Nonetheless, John Harbaugh's squad is poised to make another playoff run. The bigger question is whether they will do so as AFC North champions or if their arch-rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, can hold onto their perch atop the division.

Here's what you need to know about the Ravens' playoff odds, their remaining schedule, and where they stand in the AFC playoff picture for Week 12.

Ravens playoff odds

According to BetMGM Sportsbook, the Ravens have odds of -3000 to make the playoffs entering Week 12. That implied probability gives Baltimore a 96.77% chance of qualifying for the postseason.

Ravens remaining schedule

Oddsmakers think the Ravens are a near lock to make the playoffs, but they have a difficult schedule to close the season. Baltimore's six remaining opponents have a combined winning percentage of .538 per Tankathon, which is good for the 11th-toughest remaining schedule in the NFL.

The Ravens are playing four teams that are currently projected to make the postseason over the season's final seven weeks. They will also be granted a respite in Week 14, as they were among the six NFL teams to be given the league's latest possible bye in 2024.

AFC North standings

Baltimore's chances of winning the AFC North aren't nearly as good as their wild-card chances. The Ravens have +120 odds to win a second consecutive division title. Those odds imply that the Ravens have a 45.45% chance to overcome the Steelers' advantage in the division standings.

Below is a full look at the AFC North standings entering Week 12:

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3)
  2. Baltimore Ravens (7-4)
  3. Cincinnati Bengals (4-7)
  4. Cleveland Browns (3-8)

The Ravens lost to the Steelers 18-16 in Week 11, so Pittsburgh doesn't just hold a full game lead over Baltimore. It also owns the head-to-head tiebreaker in the division and can clinch the tiebreaker with a win in Week 16.

That leaves the Ravens little room for error as they look to win a division title for a sixth time under John Harbaugh, though Pittsburgh helped Baltimore's cause by losing to Cleveland on "Thursday Night Football" in Week 12. Still, if Baltimore can't win, the team has a great chance to qualify for the postseason as a wild card.
