The playoffs are coming! The playoffs are coming!
With just six more weeks to go until we set the playoff bracket, the NFL is buzzing with Paul Revere-esque energy right now. Many of the 32 troops are scrambling for a ticket to the league's dance in January, hoping they'll make it to February.
Before we get there, however, plenty of battles remain. The road is long and winding, rarely resembling a straight line. There are twists and turns, peaks and valleys. Some will take the road less traveled, while others will head down paths more familiar.
Regardless, the playoffs are just a mere pit stop on the journey that lists the Super Bowl as the destination. A few teams have seen their playoff odds vanish after 12 weeks of football, while plenty more hope to avoid that fate in the march for the coveted Lombardi.
