The Green Bay Packers came into the 2024 NFL season hoping to take a step forward in Jordan Love's second year as the team's full-time starting quarterback.

So far, so good.

Love has missed a few games during the 2024 NFL season and hasn't been perfect when on the field, struggling with interceptions at times. That said, the Packers as a team have come together nicely, with Love's vertical playmaking ability complementing workhorse back Josh Jacobs well and Jeff Hafley's first season as defensive coordinator going smoothly.

The Packers look like one of the NFC's best teams and are positioned to make another solid playoff run. If they can survive the regular season in what is looking like the NFL's toughest division, they could establish themselves as a top Super Bowl contender come January.

According to BetMGM Sportsbook, the Packers have odds of -1600 to make the playoffs entering Week 13. That implied probability gives Green Bay a 94.12% chance of qualifying for the postseason.

Packers remaining schedule

The Packers play in arguably the NFL's toughest division and have three NFC North opponents left on their schedule. As such, it should be no surprise that Green Bay has the seventh-hardest remaining schedule in the NFL, per Tankathon. Their six remaining opponents have a combined winning percentage of .576.

NFC North standings

The Packers have an 8-3 record but enter Week 13 sitting at third place in the loaded NFC North. According to BetMGM Sportsbook, they have odds of +1600 – an implied chance of 5.88% – to win the division.

Below is a full look at the NFC North standings entering Week 13:

The Packers have lost head-to-head against both the Lions and the Vikings, which complicates their path to the top of the division. They have one remaining matchup with each team on the schedule, but they would likely have to win both to have any chance to win the NFC North.

Green Bay's game against Detroit in Week 14 could go a long way in deciding whether the Packers have a legitimate shot to challenge the Lions or Vikings in the division. But first, the Packers will look to take care of business against the Dolphins in Week 13 to keep pressure on the Lions and Vikings in the NFL's most competitive divisional race.
