Not all of the NFL teams playing on Thanksgiving are thankful for the way their seasons have gone thus far, but a least a handful of them will be grateful that they are in the running for high-end draft capital.

The New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears are among the teams that will likely vie for top-10 picks amid lost seasons. The Giants entered Thanksgiving with a shot at the No. 1 overall pick, and they aided their chances of getting that selection by losing to the Cowboys on Thursday.

Speaking of Dallas, their second consecutive win without Dak Prescott, who is lost for the season with a hamstring injury, will drop them to the middle tier of the 2025 NFL Draft order. Owner Jerry Jones won't mind that, as the 82-year-old has repeatedly stated that his goal is to win, even after his team endured a 3-7 start to the season.

Meanwhile, the Bears have now lost six games in a row and appear to be on a collision course with a top-10 pick. That may be disappointing for Chicago fans who believed Caleb Williams would have a chance to make the postseason as a rookie, but adding another high-end player to their roster could be good for the Bears' long-term prospects of contending.

The Raiders dropped their eighth straight game on Black Friday when they lost to the Chiefs and are pushing the Giants and Jaguars for the No. 1 overall pick.

Here's a look at how the 2025 NFL draft order looks following Thursday's NFL games:
