MNF best bets: Top player props, anytime touchdown scorers for Vikings vs. Bears

The stars are tonight, ready to shine bright under the "Monday Night Football" lights.
The Minnesota Vikings (11-2) are set to host the Chicago Bears (4-9), putting a bow on Week 15 in the NFL with the prime-time matchup in Minnesota. Two games are scheduled to kick off on Monday night, with the Raiders hosting the Falcons at 8:30 p.m. ET, but this is a breakdown of the NFC North clash.
Despite coming into the season's final four weeks with 11 wins, the hosts are still chasing the Detroit Lions in the division. Quarterback Sam Darnold has revived his career in his first season with Minnesota and has the offense clicking on all cylinders. Minnesota has won six in a row and will attempt to chase down Detroit over the final month.
Meanwhile, Chicago has lost seven consecutive games and is looking to play spoiler in the division. Caleb Williams and the offense will try to bounce back from a meager showing in a 38-13 loss against the San Francisco 49ers. The offense finished the first half with just four total yards before halftime in Week 14. Thomas Brown will coach his second game after being named interim head coach, and he will attempt to turn around what appears to be an uninspired group.
What are the best bets for the Vikings and Bears? Paste BN Sports has narrowed down the best options for anytime touchdown scorers and player props for you here. Here are some prop bets to consider for the Week 15 "MNF" matchup with odds from BetMGM.
Monday Night Football: Vikings vs Bears best bets
All odds are via BetMGM as of Sunday.
Jordan Addison (MIN, WR) OVER 49.5 receiving yards (-120)
It may be easy to get caught star-gazing on Monday night with Justin Jefferson on the field, but the offense should benefit from continuing to lean on two receivers. Jordan Addison is trying to shake the narrative of inconsistency, and he's done well at accomplishing that over the last month. With defenses shading coverage to double-team Jefferson, Addison has been left to win one-on-one situations.
He has received a respectable 29% target share over this stretch and has had at least 54 yards in the last four games. Nearly half of those targets have come on deep passes (45%). This is key because Chicago has allowed the third-most receptions and the fourth-most yards on deep passes. In the Week 12 meeting with Chicago, he finished with a career-high 162 yards on eight catches. Bet Addison with confidence on Monday night.
T.J. Hockenson (MIN, TE) +210 anytime TD
T.J. Hockenson is finally healthy, and his workload continues to increase. Since his return in Week 9, Minnesota has slowly incorporated him back into the offense, and I expect the Vikings to unleash him a bit down the stretch as they battle for a playoff spot. The 27-year-old tight end has been working alongside Josh Oliver and Johnny Mundt since his return, but Hockenson's impact will start to shine through as his snap share has been over 60% in three straight.
The former first-round tight end had his best game since returning in Week 12 against Chicago. He posted seven receptions for 112 yards. Kevin O’Connell will soon unleash his elite tight end in the red zone. Chicago ranks 31st in yards per route run allowed to opposing tight ends. Count on the man who looks like an actual Viking to show up and find paydirt for the first time this season.
Rome Odunze (CHI, WR) anytime TD (+280)
When in Rome? Technically, this game is being played in Minneapolis, but let's get to the point. Fire up Bears rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze with the final anytime touchdown wager tonight. With rookie quarterback Caleb Williams continuing to improve, this game in U.S. Bank Stadium should be entertaining. The Bears could find themselves playing from behind again as 7-point underdogs, and they will need some production out of their receivers if they want to keep pace with Minnesota on the road.
This will be the fifth game for Caleb Williams and Chicago's offense since Thomas Brown took over as the new offensive coordinator. He now implemented as the interim head coach as well, so Brown has complete control of this unit. Odunze has seen his target share blossom under Brown, and he's coming off a two-touchdown performance against the 49ers in Week 14. Listed at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, Odunze is a threat in the red zone. He leads the Bears in end zone targets, deep targets and average depth of target (aDOT). Minnesota has allowed the most receptions on deep passes in 2024.
Odunze has just three touchdowns this season, largely because he has the lowest catchable target rate in the NFL (63.3%). He has a higher separation win rate on routes run than teammate D.J. Moore, so Williams has been missing him. Odunze has had at least six targets in six of the last seven games. This rookie connection will continue to flourish.
