Jaguars at Raiders: Predictions, picks, odds for NFL Week 16 game
As it stands, the Las Vegas Raiders are in line for the No. 1 overall pick. The Jacksonville Jaguars have had the No. 1 overall pick twice in the last four years, and are in the running for their third such honor in 2024. At this point, it would be a huge punch to the gut for Jaguars fans should they wind up with the first pick yet again. Luckily, a win this weekend against the lowly Raiders would ensure the Jags do not end up with such a fate, as they would be two games up on the Raiders with two weeks left to play.
On the bright side, even if the Jaguars lose, the first overall pick would still belong to the New York Giants, but at that point, Jags' fans might be willing to bite the bullet, endure the embarrassment, and just take the first pick yet again. That's what losing to the Raiders does to a fanbase.
