49ers at Cardinals: Predictions, picks, odds for NFL Week 18 game

This NFC West showdown features a matchup between two disappointments. The San Francisco 49ers were expected to compete for a Super Bowl, yet they trot into the final week of the regular season with a measly six wins.
The Arizona Cardinals, on the other hand, have pretty much been as good as advertised but that hasn't been the case for their first-round rookie receiver, Marvin Harrison Jr. Lauded as a generational talent, MHJ's rookie campaign has been rather underwhelming. He's yet to eclipse 60 receptions and has been a second thought in the Cardinals' offense behind Trey McBride and James Conner.
So, which disappointment will outshine the other? Both teams are looking to bring something positive into 2025, but only one will have that honor. Here are our experts' predictions for this NFC West matchup.

Lorenzo Reyes: 49ers 21, Cardinals 16
This is one of those games that I could see going either way; neither team has anything to play for and both have been underwhelming at times. I’d look elsewhere, but I’ll back the better roster in San Francisco.
Richard Morin: Cardinals 22, 49ers 17
Not an easy one to pick but it sure feels like the 49ers are going to finish in last place, doesn't it?
Jordan Mendoza: Cardinals 16, 49ers 10
San Francisco’s turn from falling short of the Super Bowl to completely missing the playoffs has been a bad sight to see in the Bay Area. Arizona adds to more of the misery to ensure the 49ers finish last in the division.
