The NFL playoffs begin with six games over three days for wild card weekend. The action kicks off with the Los Angeles Chargers going on the road to take on the AFC South champion Houston Texans.

The three AFC wild card games are the first of wild card weekend. The NFC side of the bracket kicks off on Sunday, with the No. 7 seed Green Bay Packers taking on the No. 2 seed Philadelphia Eagles.

Green Bay had playoff seeding to play for in Week 18 but lost their final game of the season 24-22 to NFC North foe Chicago, their third loss in their last five games. They lost wide receiver Christian Watson to injury and quarterback Jordan Love also missed time. Love will be in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Philadelphia was locked into the No. 2 seed before Week 18 and rested their starters for the finale against New York. Quarterback Jalen Hurts entered the week in concussion protocol and hasn't played since Dec. 22. His status will be massively important for the Eagles.

Eagles vs. Packers predictions

  • Eagles 27, Packers 21

Philadelphia essentially had a bye in Week 18 against New York and rested their starters. They'll have running back Saquon Barkley and others back in action against Green Bay for their playoff opener.

The Packers are the final wild card seed out of a stacked NFC North division. They're a much different team than the last time these teams played each other back in Week 1 of the regular season, especially on defense.

However, the Eagles are one of the best teams in the NFL on both sides of the ball. Green Bay will not make enough plays to overcome Philadelphia's defense.
