The divisional round of the NFL playoffs is here, and it's time for the Kansas City Chiefs to get back into action. The AFC's No. 1 seed will host the Houston Texans at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

The game will be a rematch of a Week 16 game in Kansas City, where the Chiefs topped the Texans 27-19 on Dec. 21.

The Chiefs are well-rested after a bye week and are expected to have a full roster, with all starters refreshed for the divisional round against the Texans. This could create challenges for Houston. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has had an extended period of rest, as backup quarterback Carson Wentz started in the final regular-season game against the Denver Broncos. Mahomes boasts a 6-0 record in the divisional round, the most consecutive wins in any playoff round in NFL history.

The Texans secured their spot in the divisional round by defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 32-12 in an AFC wild-card playoff game. Quarterback C.J. Stroud completed 66.7% of his passes for 282 yards, recording one touchdown and one interception. However, it was the Houston defense that ultimately thwarted the Chargers' Super Bowl aspirations, intercepting Justin Herbert four times. Now, the Texans are determined to make history by advancing to the AFC Championship game for the first time in franchise history.
