East meets West in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon.

After a wonky wild card weekend, the Rams head to the City of Brotherly Love for a rematch with the Eagles, looking to avenge their late November loss. Sean McVay's team comes into the divisional round riding a high coming after a blowout win over the Minnesota Vikings.

The same cannot be said for the Eagles, however. They profile as a team that survived and advanced despite a more lopsided score against the Green Bay Packers. Philly was booed by the home faithful after their offense looked like it was stuck in the mud for most of the afternoon.

Those concerns on offense will only heighten against an L.A. team that is more of a threat to score. All the pressure is on Jalen Hurts and the Eagles while the Rams look to continue a magical ride.

Eagles vs. Rams predictions

  • Rams 27, Eagles 23

There's something about this Rams team. Many wrote them off after the deadly wildfires in Los Angeles, suggesting their minds would be elsewhere. Instead, the tragedy has served as a rallying cry for a team already looking to be a threat in the NFC.

The Eagles have been a popular pick to represent their conference in the Super Bowl, but they don't come without their issues. Injuries hit them last week and Hurts still doesn't look right this season. A.J. Brown is reading books on the sideline and Saquon Barkley has to do it all. It doesn't feel like a group primed to make a run.

Nick Sirianni's team continues to stack wins, but this is the same coach everyone was looking to fire just a few months ago. Maybe it's just the fickle nature of the gig but eventually they'll be on the wrong side of a one-possession game to remind everyone of those old concerns.

The Rams have the coaching advantage, a playoff-tested quarterback and a defense on the rise. They've been down this road before and come in with a mostly healthy roster. The task is simple, at least on paper: Limit Barkley and the Rams will win.

Despite the cold weather and snow in the forecast, Matthew Stafford and company pull off the upset.

Eagles vs. Rams stats, history

These sides most recently met in Week 12 when the Eagles thumped the Rams by a 37-20 margin. Barkley ran for a career-high 255 rushing yards, setting a new Eagles franchise record.

The Eagles have a 24-20-1 record, including 1-2 in the playoffs, all-time against the Rams franchise that dates back to 1937. Their most recent playoff matchup, however, came in 2002. Philadelphia is 4-1 against the team since they moved to Los Angeles.

While there's plenty of history behind it, this is a newer matchup for NFL fans to see in the postseason, giving the weekend a different look and feel.
