NFL playoff power rankings: Ranking all 4 teams based on Super Bowl odds

Four teams remain in the NFL playoffs, but not all four have the same chances of winning Super Bowl 59.
The Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders are the last four teams in the postseason. An intradivisional face-off between the Eagles and Commanders will start conference championship weekend. Then, a fourth postseason clash between the Bills and Chiefs since 2020 will kick off in the AFC championship game.
Entering the weekend, the division winners and holders of top-two seeds – Buffalo, Kansas City and Philadelphia – all boast some of the best odds to win a Lombardi Trophy in New Orleans on Feb. 9. Facing the longest odds are the Commanders, the sole team to make it this far without winning their division first.
Here's how the four remaining teams stack up, using betting odds for their chances to win this year's Super Bowl.
NFL playoff power rankings: Super Bowl odds
Here's how all four remaining NFL playoff teams rank by BetMGM's Super Bowl odds:
4. Washington Commanders (+850)
(Last week: Seventh +3000)
Washington will enter the NFC championship game as road underdogs for the third straight playoff game, but that has not stopped them yet.
The Commanders, who opened the season at +15000 odds to win Super Bowl 59 – the same odds as the Giants and Titans – are one win away from reaching the Big Game. They've already taken down two division winners to do so in the Buccaneers and the Lions, who also held the NFC's No. 1 seed.
3. Buffalo Bills (+260)
(Last week: Fifth, +550)
Buffalo is a smaller underdog on the road against the Chiefs this weekend, and their odds to win the Super Bowl are significantly higher than the Commanders' as a result. The Bills were one of two teams to defeat Kansas City during the regular season and the only team to do so with the Chiefs at full strength. They face an uphill battle playing in front of a hostile crowd at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, but they once again have a chance to redeem themselves against their biggest playoff nemesis this decade.
2. Kansas City Chiefs (+200)
(Last week: Second, +350)
It's late January, the Chiefs are in the AFC championship game and among the favorites to win the Super Bowl. No, this isn't "Groundhog Day" it's just the seventh year of the Patrick Mahomes Era in Kansas City. The Chiefs are playing for a conference title for the seventh straight season, and with their home-field advantage, history of playoff success against the Bills and talented roster, they're the AFC favorites. However, Buffalo still presents a formidable challenge, so Kansas City doesn't quite hold the shortest odds to win a third straight Lombardi Trophy.
1. Philadelphia Eagles (+180)
(Last week: Third, +400)
With the Ravens and Lions both eliminated in the divisional round, the Eagles have a real argument at having the most talented roster remaining in the postseason. Running back Saquon Barkley has been a monster addition behind the team's incredible offensive line, the weapons the Eagles have in the passing offense are terrifying and the defense has been by far the league's best since the team's Week 5 bye. Philadelphia is a six-point favorite at home at the time of writing and can book a second trip to the Super Bowl in three years if it takes care of business against a divisional rival.
NFL playoff bracket
