Commanders vs. Eagles: Predictions, odds for NFC championship game

The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Washington Commanders in Sunday's NFC championship game, with two longtime division rivals battling for a spot at Super Bowl 59.
Philadelphia posted a 14-3 regular-season record to win the NFC East by two games over Washington, with the results between the two split. The Eagles claimed a 26-18 win at home in November, but the Commanders returned the favor last month with a dramatic 36-33 victory.
Last weekend, Philadelphia held off the Los Angeles Rams, winning a divisional-round playoff contest 28-22 thanks in part to long touchdown runs from Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts. Washington booked its place in the NFC championship – the team's deepest playoff run since 1991 – by stunning the Detroit Lions to win 45-31 at Ford Field, with rookie Jayden Daniels standing out once again.
Here is what to know about the Commanders-Eagles playoff game, including odds, predictions and how to watch:
NFC championship game predictions: Washington Commanders vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Paste BN: Eagles 24, Commanders 21
Jacob Camenker writes: "Could (Jayden) Daniels and the offense go blow-for-blow with Philadelphia's unit? Sure, it's possible. But as the Buccaneers demonstrated, there are ways to slow down the Commanders. … The Eagles may also be one of the few NFL teams capable of forcing Daniels into turnovers, as three of his nine interceptions came in his two games against Philadelphia. If the Eagles can gain an advantage in the turnover battle, as they did against the Rams and Packers, that would go a long way toward limiting Washington's spectacular offense."
Sporting News: Experts narrowly leaning toward the Eagles
Sporting News' five-member panel saw three votes for the Eagles to win, and two for the Commanders. All five voters agreed on one thing: expect a close game. The largest margin of victory anyone predicted was a seven-point gap, with multiple score predictions seeing this game come down to a field goal.
USA Today: Eagles 25, Commanders 21
Pat Sharyon writes: "According to Dimers' popular predictive analytics model, the Eagles are more likely to beat the Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field. This prediction is based on the model giving the Eagles a 66% chance of winning the game. Furthermore, Dimers predicts that the Commanders (+5.5) have a 54% chance of covering the spread, while the 47.5-point over/under is considered an equal 50-50 chance of hitting."
ESPN: Bet against the spread
Tyler Fulghum writes: "The Commanders have already beaten the Eagles once this season. Jayden Daniels is playing better football than Jalen Hurts. In the divisional round, the Eagles got another 200-plus rushing yard performance and were +2 in turnover margin against the Rams and still didn't cover. They almost lost the game in regulation. I picked Philly to win the NFC and I'll stand by that, but I feel like this line should respect the Commanders a bit more than it does."
