Who won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year? Jayden Daniels highlights, stats from first season

The 2024 NFL draft was an outstanding class for offensive talent. A record 23 offensive players were taken in the first round, including six quarterbacks — five of whom started at least one game this season as a rookie. Seven wide receivers were also selected in the first round, as well as record-setting tight end Brock Bowers.
That meant plenty of competition for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. In the end, it went to Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.
The 2023 Heisman Trophy winner from LSU went No. 2 overall to the Commanders in the 2024 NFL draft and sparked one of the biggest turnarounds in the NFL this season. The Commanders won 12 games for the first time since 1991, and the offense finished the regular season ranked fifth in scoring after ranking 25th a year prior.
Daniels led the Commanders to the NFC championship game, the franchise's first appearance in the contest in 33 years. He becomes the second Washington quarterback to win the award after Robert Griffin III did so in the 2012 NFL season.
Here's how Daniels did this season:
