Mahomes and the Chiefs are also riding a nine-game win streak in the postseason, with their last postseason loss coming in the 2022 AFC championship game to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Mahomes has appeared in seven consecutive AFC championship games since taking over as the Chiefs starting quarterback in 2018. Of those seven trips to the AFC title game, Mahomes has only lost twice: in 2019 vs. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, and in 2022 vs. the Bengals.
