Imagine if you applied for a job and a big part of the interview process – something that determines how much money you make, potentially with differences of hundreds of thousands of dollars – is working out in front of every potential employer and thousands of spectators.

That is, in a nutshell, what hundreds of NFL draft prospects do each year at the NFL combine. But when is this year's NFL combine?

About 300 athletes will descend upon Indianapolis for the 2025 NFL combine later this month. Here's what you need to know about the league's premiere pre-draft event:

When is the 2025 NFL combine?

The 2025 NFL combine officially runs from Thursday, Feb. 27 to Sunday, March 2. However, a couple of days before that will also include media availability sessions from some players, as well as certain head coaches and general managers.

Athletes from different defensive groups will be available to the media every day from Wednesday, Feb. 26 to Saturday, March 1. Here's the full schedule for athlete media availability and testing:

Placekickers, defensive linemen, linebackers:

  • Media availability session, kicking workout: Wednesday, Feb. 26
  • Measurements and on-field workout: Thursday, Feb. 27
  • Bench press, departure: Friday, Feb. 28

Defensive backs, tight ends:

  • Media availability session: Thursday, Feb. 27
  • Measurements and on-field workout: Friday, Feb. 28
  • Bench press, departure: Saturday, March 1

Running backs, quarterbacks, wide receivers:

  • Media availability session: Friday, Feb. 28
  • Measurements and on-field workout: Saturday, March 1
  • Bench press, departure: Sunday, March 2

Offensive linemen:

  • Media availability session: Saturday, March 1
  • Measurements and on-field workout: Sunday, March 2
  • Bench press, departure: Monday, March 3
