Chiefs to re-sign two-time Super Bowl champion LB Nick Bolton, per reports

Nick Bolton is re-signing with the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the 2025 NFL season.
The linebacker agreed to a three-year, $45 million deal with the team, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
A person close to the situation confirmed the terms of the deal to Paste BN Sports' Tyler Dragon. The person spoke on condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the matter.
Bolton selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. The Missouri product quickly blossomed into a productive linebacker, racking up 112 tackles as a rookie and becoming a starter for the Chiefs.
Bolton led Kansas City in tackles during three of his four seasons with the team. The only time he failed to do so was during the 2023 season, when he played in just eight games because of a wrist injury.
Bolton totaled 106 tackles and three sacks for the Chiefs in 2024. His best season came in 2022, when he totaled 180 tackles, two interceptions and two sacks while helping Kansas City win Super Bowl 57.
In three Super Bowl appearances, Bolton has racked up 31 total tackles. That's just three behind record-holder Rodney Harrison, who has 34 total tackles in four career Super Bowl appearances.
Bolton turns 25 on Monday, so he has plenty of time to break Harrison's record – provided he can make it back to the Big Game with the Chiefs.
