How much are the Seattle Seahawks are paying Sam Darnold? Terms of new QB's contract

Sam Darnold is, once again, on the move.
The former New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings quarterback is now taking his talents to the Seattle Seahawks.
Darnold has agreed to a three-year, $100.5 million deal with the Seahawks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal comes with $55 million guaranteed.
The well-traveled journeyman quarterback appeared to find a home in Minnesota last season with the Vikings, but that marriage wasn't built to last.
J.J. McCarthy was drafted to be the quarterback of the future, while Darnold was the fallback option when the former Michigan man went down with an injury.
Here's what to know about Darnold's new contract and his latest NFL home.

Darnold agreed to a three-year, $100.5 million deal with the Seahawks that includes $55 million guaranteed, according to reports.
It became a fairly obvious landing spot for Darnold after Seattle traded Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders, opening up a starting quarterback job.
The quarterback won't have to face any competition for the job like he would've in Minnesota, clearing the path to continue building on his success from 2024.
Darnold broke out with the Vikings and became the top free agent quarterback available in what was a weak class. Now he cashed in and has a team to call his own in the Emerald City.
