2025 NFL free agency: Best remaining NFL free agents by position

NFL free agency technically doesn't begin until the start of the new league year at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 12, but the NFL's legal tampering period opened on Monday, March 10.

This window allows agents to negotiate contracts and agree to terms for players but no deals become official until contracts are signed on Wednesday.

The offseason is a chance for all 32 NFL teams to return to a level playing field. Dozens of free agents around the league have already agreed to terms with new teams as every franchise searches for ways to tip the scale during the NFL's offseason.

Veteran offensive stars like wide receiver Chris Godwin and running back Najee Harris have agreed to terms for 2025 and beyond. Still, plenty of other free agents remain, including some defenders who could be difference-makers. On Monday, quarterbacks including Sam Darnold and Justin Fields agreed to contracts with new teams but who is the best remaining signal-caller available?
