Seattle Seahawks WR depth chart: Updates after D.K. Metcalf trade, free agency

Every year, multiple NFL teams narrowly miss out on the playoffs. A close race for division titles or wild card spots can keep certain teams out of the postseason.
Last season, the Seattle Seahawks finished the year 10-7, the same as the NFC West division winner Los Angeles Rams. But Seattle didn't make the postseason because of its strength of schedule.
It would be easy for the Seahawks to shrug it off, run things back and hope for a couple better breaks in 2025 in the second season under coach Mike Macdonald. But general manager John Schneider and company have skipped that train of thought.
In the week leading up to free agency, the Seahawks released franchise icon Tyler Lockett, traded starting quarterback Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders and dealt two-time Pro Bowl wideout D.K. Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Once free agency began, Seattle secured the top quarterback on the market by signing Sam Darnold.
