Prime Time's son is ready for prime time.
Shedeur Sanders has just one hurdle left to clear before hearing his name called in the NFL draft – the pro day. It's the final showcase for the Colorado Buffaloes' NFL hopefuls, who are trying to make the jump to the professional level.
Unlike the scouting combine, pro days are much more controlled and scripted, but they still provide players a chance to stand out in a less crowded group.
That might not necessarily be the case in the Big 12, however. The conference opted to do their pro day as a team last year rather than hold singular days for each school. For logistical purposes, one pro day in one place for 16 teams is a dream and that will continue in 2025.
Hundreds of prospects will have their time in the spotlight and Sanders figures to be one of the brightest to put his talents on display.

When is Shedeur Sanders' pro day?
Sanders' pro day is scheduled for Thursday, March 20. The Big 12's pro days are slated for March 18-21, but quarterbacks are expected to participate alongside the defensive backs after the running backs and tight ends take the field on March 20.
NFL Network will have live coverage of the event from 1 p.m. ET to 4 p.m. ET.
The Big 12 will not have school-specific pro days, meaning Sanders and his Colorado teammates will work out alongside the other conference schools during that window.
Sanders declined the chance to throw at the NFL combine, instead deciding to let his tape speak for itself. He attended the pre-draft event but notably watched everything unfold from the sidelines.
Concerns about arm strength could be answered at his pro day, where he is expected to help showcase his teammates.
The Colorado quarterback is likely to be one of the first players off the board on draft night and is considered one of the top quarterback prospects in the draft.
Colorado will be joined by Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, BYU, UCF, Cincinnati, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech, Utah and West Virginia for a few days of pro day festivities.
