The UFL is marching into its fourth week, and the league's playoff race is already heating up.

The XFL conference features three strong teams – the DC Defenders, St. Louis Battlehawks and Arlington Renegades – and the latter two will face off this week. The matchup will determine which has the early advantage in the race for the conference's No. 2 seed behind the Defenders, the lone undefeated team remaining in the UFL.

The USFL conference has a slightly clearer pecking order, with the three-time reigning champion Birmingham Stallions and Michigan Panthers sitting at the top. Each has a winnable matchup in Week 4, with the Panthers facing the winless Memphis Showboats and the Stallions facing the Roughnecks, who have the league's lowest-scoring offense.

If the favorites can win in Week 4, it will establish a clear-cut pecking order in the race for the playoffs. Here's what to know about the UFL's Week 4 schedule and how to watch all four matchups.

UFL schedule Week 4: What games are on today?

For the first time this season, the UFL is hosting two Saturday games instead of a Sunday doubleheader. Below is a full look at the spring football league's Week 4 schedule.

  • Memphis Showboats at Michigan Panthers, 8 p.m., Fox

Saturday, April 12

  • St. Louis Battlehawks at Arlington Renegades, 12:30 p.m., ABC/ESPN+
  • Birmingham Stallions at Houston Roughnecks, 7 p.m., Fox

Sunday, April 20

  • San Antonio Brahmas at DC Defenders, 5 p.m., Fox

Friday UFL game time, TV channel, live stream

Memphis Showboats (0-3) at Michigan Panthers (2-1)

  • Start time: 8 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: Fox
  • Live stream: Fubo

The Showboats are searching for their first win amid more organizational turmoil. After Ken Whisenhunt returned to the team for Week 3, the veteran coach officially stepped down from his post. Memphis has installed Jim Turner as its interim head coach once again – this time for the rest of the season – and he will be tasked with turning around a team with the third-worst point differential in the UFL (-20).

Meanwhile, Mike Nolan's Panthers are coming off a 26-23 win over the San Antonio Brahmas during which running back Jaden Shirden provided the team a spark, running for 59 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Between his speed and Bryce Perkins' willingness to scramble (74 yards, three rushing scores on the season), Michigan should be positioned to run well on a Memphis defense that is allowing 109 rushing yards per game.

The Panthers beat the Showboats 26-12 in Week 1, so barring an offensive breakout from EJ Perry, this game could play out similarly.

Saturday UFL game times, TV channel, live stream

St. Louis Battlehawks (2-1) at Arlington Renegades (2-1)

  • Start time: 12:30 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: ABC
  • Live stream: Fubo, ESPN+

This is the UFL's marquee matchup of Week 4, as it will determine whether the Battlehawks or Renegades have the inside track to a playoff spot in the XFL conference.

Both teams are coming off disappointing Week 3 losses. The Renegades failed to score in the second half of their 10-9 loss to the Stallions while the Battlehawks allowed Jordan Ta'amu to throw for 243 yards and three touchdowns while seeing Manny Wilkins throw three interceptions.

Arlington vs. St. Louis should provide a fun strength-on-strength matchup for UFL fans to watch. The Battlehawks have the league's best rushing offense, led by Jacob Saylors (145 yards, four touchdowns) and Jarveon Howard (134 yards, one touchdown), while the Renegades are allowing a league-low 73.3 rushing yards per game. The winner of that battle will likely have the best chance to win the game.

Birmingham Stallions (2-1) at Houston Roughnecks (1-2)

  • Start time: 7 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: Fox
  • Live stream: Fubo

The Roughnecks earned their first win of the season in Week 3, edging the Showboats in a tight 18-17 game. They will have a tougher task facing a Stallions squad that has allowed just 12 points per game this season, tied for the second-best in the NFL.

Houston is scoring a league-low 11 points per game. However, it saw more offensive success last week with Nolan Henderson at quarterback, who completed 10 of 11 passes for 80 yards and a touchdown in relief of Anthony Brown. Henderson hasn't yet started a game, but perhaps the Roughnecks will look to make that change in Week 4.

Meanwhile, the Stallions will also be looking to improve their offense after averaging just 14 points per game over the first three weeks of the season. Starting quarterback Alex McGough remains on IR, so Matt Corral will be tasked with upping Birmingham's scoring output. He has completed 52.9% of his passes for 453 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions this season.

San Antonio Brahmas (0-3) at DC Defenders (3-0)

  • Start time: 5 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: Fox
  • Live stream: Fubo

The Brahmas' trying season got more turbulent ahead of Week 4, as veteran head coach Wade Phillips took a leave of absence. That leaves 28-year-old Payton Pardee, who served as the team's interim head coach with Phillips out sick in Week 3, in charge of the team.

San Antonio sported one of the UFL's best defenses in 2024 but has allowed a league-high 28.3 points per game this season. The Defenders have been one of the UFL's most explosive offenses, scoring at least 17 points in ever game, and should be poised to continue to run well on the Brahmas' bottom-ranked run defense with Abram Smith and Deon Jackson.
