The 2025 UFL season reached its halfway point following Week 5. The second half of the campaign will kickstart Friday as the spring league prepares for an exciting playoff race.

Presently, five of the UFL's eight teams have winning records, and six are within one game of a playoff spot in the standings. That will make every result for those contenders critical down the stretch, especially with parity seemingly establishing itself at an all-time high for the spring football league.

UFL fans will get a first taste of the race for the playoffs on Friday as the Arlington Renegades hit the road to face the St. Louis Battlehawks. The winner of that contest will have an inside track to an XFL conference playoff berth, while the loser will be forced to scramble back up the standings over the season's final month.

Here's what to know about the UFL's Week 6 schedule and how to watch all four matchups.

UFL schedule Week 6: What games are on today?

Friday UFL game time, TV channel, live stream

Arlington Renegades (3-2) at St. Louis Battlehawks (3-2)

  • Start time: 8 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: Fox
  • Live stream: Fubo

The Renegades and Battlehawks are squaring off for a second time in three weeks in a matchup that will determine which team has the inside track to a playoff berth in the XFL conference.

Arlington beat St. Louis 30-15 in their Week 4 clash, during which Battlehawks quarterback Manny Wilkins suffered a torn Achilles early in the contest. Max Duggan has since replaced Wilkins and helped lead St. Louis to a 32-27 win over the Michigan Panthers in Week 5.

Will the Battlehawks be able to earn revenge? They will need to average better than the 3.3 yards per carry they did in Week 4 against a tough Renegades defense. That won't be easy to do against an Arlington defense that allows the second-fewest rushing yards per game (87.6) and has the league's second-best scoring defense in the league (16 points per game).

Saturday UFL game time, TV channel, live stream

Memphis Showboats (1-4) at Houston Roughnecks (2-3)

  • Start time: Noon ET
  • TV channel: ABC
  • Live stream: Fubo, ESPN+

The Showboats and Roughnecks are sitting at the bottom of the USFL conference standings, but both are within striking distance of the playoff berth. The Panthers and Stallions have 3-2 records, so Houston in particular could work its way into the playoff race with a victory in this contest.

The Roughnecks have gotten a spark from moving Jalan McClendon – who began the season as the team's third-string quarterback – into a starting role. He helped lead them to a 27-3 victory over the Brahmas last week after completing 22 of 32 passes for 171 yards with an interception. He gave Houston an identity with an explosive passing attack.

Meanwhile, Jim Turner's Showboats are coming off their first win of the season, an impressive 24-20 road win over the Stallions. Like Houston, Memphis got a spark from inserting a new quarterback, Dresser Winn, into the lineup. He completed 17 of 29 passes for 235 yards and a touchdown.

The Roughnecks figure to have a slight advantage in this one. They beat the Showboats 18-17 in Week 3 and have allowed just 13.5 points per game defensively since being shredded by Arlington in the UFL opener.

Sunday UFL game times, TV channels, live streams

DC Defenders (4-1) at Michigan Panthers (3-2)

  • Start time: Noon ET
  • TV channel: ESPN2
  • Live stream: Fubo, ESPN+

The Defenders are facing a critical opportunity in Week 6 because of the Renegades vs. Battlehawks game. If DC can win, it will be guaranteed to be two games ahead of the third-place team in the XFL conference with four weeks left in the regular season. That will give the Defenders a good chance to lock up a playoff berth.

DC is coming off a season-high 37-point outing against a strong Arlington defense, so it should provide a test for Michigan. That said, Jordan Ta'amu has only completed 49.7% of his passes for the season and is tied for second in the league in interceptions thrown with four. That could give the Panthers a chance to create some turnovers and keep this game close.

Add in the efficient play of Michigan quarterback Bryce Perkins, who has completed a league-high 72.3% of his passes and is fresh off a dynamic, dual-threat showing against the Battlehawks, and this could end up being an exciting showdown.

San Antonio Brahmas (1-4) at Birmingham Stallions (3-2)

  • Start time: 4 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: Fox
  • Live stream: Fubo

Payton Pardee led the Brahmas to a win in his first game after taking over for Wade Phillips, but the team came back to earth in Week 5. They managed just three points in a blowout loss to the Roughnecks, which continued to establish San Antonio as the league's most offensively challenged team, averaging just 13.6 points per game.

The Stallions aren't the same formidable force they have been in previous spring league seasons, but they are still a skilled, experienced roster that should give the Brahmas trouble. Birmingham lost Case Cookus' first start of the season against the Showboats, but he performed well after shaking off some rust. He completed 15 of 33 passes for 145 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while leading the team with 83 rushing yards.
