Titans schedule 2025: Tennessee win-loss record predictions
The Greek gods are mostly ancient history.
That doesn't mean Nashville won't make a case to try and add another this NFL season. A city that's drawn plenty of inspiration from ancient Greece, Tennessee's capital earned the nickname "Athens of the South" particularly for its dedication to architecture.
It's a city that features an exact replica of the Parthenon and an NFL team that was named with that Greek connection in mind.
The Tennessee Titans will look to channel the Greek goddess of victory, Nike, this season, after a miserable 2024 that handed them the first pick in the draft.
That pick was used to select Miami quarterback Cam Ward, a player that Titans fans hope can stabilize the position for many years to come. He might not be a Greek god, but perhaps he can play like one on the field.
If things go right, perhaps Ward can enter his name alongside Zeus, Poseidon, Apollo, Athena and the others. Hercules might not be Greek, but it will take that kind of effort from Ward to make Tennessee a contender in his rookie year.

Record prediction: 4-13
The Titans will have plenty of growing pains when Ward takes the field this season, but that's just part of the journey for a rookie quarterback.
They attempted to fix to their offense this offseason, adding receivers and offensive lineman to help their young signal caller.
It's important to not set expectations too high, however.
Tennessee is still firmly in rebuild mode, especially on defense. Jeffery Simmons can't do it all and there are questions at all three levels.
Brian Callahan will look for his offense to pick up the slack, which would get a big boost if Ward is as advertised. That's a lot to put on a rookie quarterback though.
The Titans do benefit from the eighth-easiest in the league, per Sharp Football Analysis, and an AFC South that isn't filled with great teams. That doesn't mean they are making the leap to division champions, but they could steal some wins along the way if things break right.
After a 3-14 season last year, the hope is that Ward can begin the turnaround as Tennessee eyes a return to the playoffs. With the holes all over the roster, it's hard to envision a major improvement in the record for 2025.
