RB Tevin Coleman puts exclamation point on 49ers game vs. Panthers

On Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers defense got a stop late against the Carolina Panthers that gave their offense the ball inside the Carolina 5. Two plays later, it was RB Tevin Coleman cruising around the left side for his second touchdown of the game to put the 49ers up for good 37-15 with just over three minutes to play.
It was a nice breakout game for Coleman, who had 11 touches for 67 yards and two touchdowns.
Jimmy Garappolo continued to showcase his leadership skills as he went 18-of-30 for 253 yards and two touchdowns compared to Panthers quarterback Baker Mayfield, who threw a pick and was sacked six times. This is including the late stop, which was a takedown by Drake Jackson. Christian McCaffrey was held to 54 yards on the ground.
The 49ers will face the Atlanta Falcons in their next matchup.
