Bears haul in Hail Mary off Jay Cutler's tipped pass

It took almost an entire half, but something finally went Jay Cutler's way on Sunday.

The Chicago Bears quarterback heaved a Hail Mary 50 yards on the final play of the second quarter against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and wide receiver Cam Meredith caught the tipped pass in the back of the end zone for a touchdown.

The play cut the Buccaneers' lead to 17-10 at halftime.

Cutler had two interceptions and lost a fumble on a strip sack in the first half. He had 124 yards on 9-of-17 passing entering halftime.
