The Chicago Bears host the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football this week. The Bears hope to build off an encouraging second-half outing in their Week 5 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

With all eyes on Chicago in prime time, the Bears will also debut their new orange alternate helmet. The Bears will pair the helmet with their alternate orange jersey and white pants.

PREDICTIONS: Who will win in Week 6 between the Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders?

Chicago will wear that uniform combination in two of the next three games. Those games include a Week 8 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, just in time for Halloween.

The alternate orange jersey isn't new, but it's the first time it'll be paired with the orange helmet. The team debuted the new helmet earlier this summer to mixed reviews from Bears fans.

The Bears have a chance to get back in the win column the Commanders. Washington has lost its last four games after winning the season opener.

Chicago sits at 2-3 overall this season. The offense will look to get on track after a slow start to the 2022 campaign. The Bears rank 31st in total offense and are averaging 17.2 points per game.
