Adam 'Pacman' Jones sticking with Bengals on three-year deal
Cornerback Adam Jones tweeted on Wednesday that he’s agreed to a three-year deal to remain with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jones, who first signed with Cincinnati in 2010, has intercepted nine passes over the last three seasons combined.
The 32-year-old Jones, a polarizing player through most of his career, played a role in the Bengals’ gut-wrenching loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round of the playoff in January. Jones was assessed a 15-yard penalty for colliding with an official in the frantic final seconds, which helped move the Steelers into closer range for the game-winning field goal.
Several teams reportedly had been interested in Jones, including the Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys.
