Report: Cincinnati Bengals bring back Samaje Perine on a two-year deal

The Cincinnati Bengals are re-signing running back Samaje Perine on a two-year deal, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler

Perine rejoins his fellow Oklahoma alum, Joe Mixon, in the Bengals' backfield. He ran for 301 yards on 61 carries last year and played in all 16 games for the Bengals.

The signing comes after the Bengals added to the defensive side of the ball early in free agency with additions of defensive end Trey Hendrickson and cornerbacks Chidobe Awuzie (Cowboys) and Mike Hilton (Steelers). The Bengals also brought back Tony Brown

The NFL free agency period opened at 4 p.m. today.
