Joe Burrow to have appendectomy, miss start of Bengals training camp

With Burrow out, the Bengals will turn to Brandon Allen and Jake Browning to run the offense.
The Bengals start training camp on Wednesday and won't put pads until next week. Burrow is essentially missing part of the ramp up period the NFL Players Association put in place to help protect the players as they ease into the full workload of camp. Cincinnati's rookies and quarterbacks reported for camp on Saturday, and Burrow was in attendance.
