Texas Longhorn Arch Manning praises Bengals QB Joe Burrow
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow paved the way for the next generation of quarterbacks.
Next up? Arch Manning.
The nephew of Eli and Peyton Manning heading into his first season as the Texas Longhorns starting quarterback recently spoke about Burrow and others at the Manning Passing Academy.
"I'm watching a lot of Josh Allen and Joe Burrow right now. Those are my guys," Manning said. I'm watching some of their college film right now. Just good players, elite competitors, and fun to watch."
Manning is hardly the first to tip the hat Burrow’s direction. It wasn’t that long ago that an Ohio State quarterback by the name of C.J. Stroud did the same.
Also not shocking is Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen being one of the other guys getting a nod from Manning.
And while it’s easy to focus on Burrow’s pro accomplishments, it wasn’t all that long ago that he authored one of the greatest college seasons by a quarterback ever at LSU before going first overall.
